Longhurst Homes 2008 Calendar
About the client: Longhurst Homes is widely recognised as one of the leading housing associations in the East Midlands. They have over 30 years housing experience and have expanded from managing approximately 800 homes in 1987 to over 5,000 now. Longhurst Homes now work in nearly 30 local authority areas in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, whilst providing services to approximately 15 agencies.
Design requirements: To design and produce a calendar which doubles as a review of the past years activities. Key messages were selected to promote and inform tenants and employees of the vast services that Longhurst Homes offer. Special events are featured and also vital information regarding the improvements that have been made and those that the company are striving to achieve.
Creative response: Using a graphic section of the logo and making strong use of the Longhurst Homes colour palette, the design primarily focuses on the winners of an annual photograph competition as it is aimed at the tenants Longhurst Homes support it was deemed important that these tenants could contribute to the document.
